3 Easy Ways to Eat More Beans

    Tip 1: Batch Cook Beans

    This is a really good way to always have beans on hand because when you batch make beans, you’ll never be too tired or too busy to make beans. All you have to do is choose a day that you’re going to batch your beans.

    For example, Sundays are my go-to for making beans. On Saturday night, I soak beans and on Sunday I make them in my instant pot.

    Here’s one more example: If I forget to soak beans, I always have canned beans on deck, especially Sun Vista Pinto Beans and Trader Joe’s Cannelini Beans. Check my IG reels out to see how I make them.

    I make about 36 ounces of each, which are perfect for sides, snacks, or just to eat straight out of the jar.

    Tip 2: Use Bean-ified Products

    Many people think that only beans from scratch or canned beans are acceptable on the bean protocol that’s because they don’t know they can use bean-ified products.

    Just remember when choosing any bean-ified products, make sure to read the ingredient labels. Choose products with whole ingredients and with 5 grams of sugar or less PER serving.

    Tip 3: Psyllium Capsules

    A good way to get enough soluble fiber is to use Psyllium capsules. I actually prefer capsules over husk, albeit they are a bit more expensive.

    It’s also a good idea to have them while your traveling or when you’re out and about. That’s because if you’re ever eating out, restaurants may not have a 100% bean protocol meal. Instead, you can choose a meat and veggie meal and get your soluble fiber from a few pills. Sounds good to me!

    But heads up: just be sure to eat beans throughout the day, because they are full of nutrients like magnesium which can improve your sleep!

    It feels really good when you finally feel the foods you’re eating are nourishing you and are getting rid of undesirable hormonal symptoms. That’s why you’ll want to put these tips to work for you, because soluble fiber really works in getting rid of toxic bile in your liver, and it’s definitely the best and fastest ways to balance your hormones.
